St. Tropez offers you an incredible tan using the very latest technology in professional spray-on tanning. This spray on in salon only tan is truly amazing!

Tried and tested at the top beauty salons across the UK & USA, St.Tropez has been described as one of the most preferred spray tan formulas. Clients find that they receive the sun kissed tones that only other products can promise. A durable formula, your St.Tropez tan will last up to 8 days and by following the advise of your beauty therapist your natural tan should fade naturally.

Using a base tone of corrective green, others are from a red which gives that orange effect. St. Tropez is formulated to work with the natural tone of your skin to create a chocolate tan. As St Tropez is a quick drying tan, you can shower after 3 hours however, maximum results will be achieved within a 6 hours period or over night.

St Tropez is practically odourless, has great natural even colour, you’ll be done and dry in just 5 minutes!!!

There are a lot of myths about spray tanning out there and you will want to get your facts straight to know what to really expect when going in for your spray tan.

Myth: You Will Become Orange

Truth: Spray tans don’t automatically make your skin orange. It is possible to acquire an orange hue to the skin if a tan is not used correctly but if the product is used as it should, there won’t be any orange colour to worry over. St. Tropez tanning products will never turn your skin orange.

Myth: Spray Tans Are Short Lived

Truth: It is true that spray tans don’t last as long as sun tans but they still last for quite awhile. It simply is not true that a good spray tan will only last a day unless you choose an instant tan! Most spray tans will last around five to seven days with the right care.

And best of all, there are no side effects like skin damage that can come from a sun tan.

Myth: Spray Tans Are Bad For You

Truth: Spray tans are not harmful in the least. Although many people (wrongly) believe otherwise, there is no chemical residue in modern spray tan products.

You won’t have to worry that you are harming your skin if you get a fake tan, in fact your skin will be better off – free from wrinkles and skin damage that come from sun tans.

Myth: Once You Leave The Tanning Salon, Your Colour Is Final

Truth: Actually tans take time to develop and you will want to give your tan about a few hours (unless you are using our express bronzing mist in which you can shower in as little as an hour!) at least before you shower to prevent washing too much of it off.

The colour will continue to darken over time, so be patient – the final result won’t be apparent the moment you leave the salon.

Spray Tan Etiquette
1. Dress Appropriately

The dyes from tanning products will stain lighter coloured clothing, so you should choose garments in darker colours that are easy to wash. Bring along a bag to hold garments while getting tanned to avoid have your underwear exposed to everyone.

2. Put Your Hair Up

You can’t have hair hanging on your shoulders and down your back because it makes a proper all over tan impossible. Put your hair up in cheap hair clips or with a hair band instead.

3. Choose Loose Slip-On Shoes

You might thing that flip-flop sandals are a good choice after tanning, but the straps tend to rub away the tanning solution. Select a pair of easy to remove shoes that cover as little of the feet as possible.

4. Request a Manicure and Pedicure First

Get a manicure and pedicure first to protect your fingernails and toenails from dyes. A manicurist can trim and polish your nails to prevent lines on fingertips and toes after your spray tan at the salon.

5. Shower and Exfoliate

24 hours before your spray tan, Please don’t shower before appointment. Spray tans work with the natural oils in your skin

6. Choose a Sunny Day

After you get a tan at a spa or salon, the dyes must remain on the skin for several hours to set. Never go for a tan on a rainy day because the water drops will streak your tan, leading to an uneven looking tan.

7. Bring an Eyeglass or Contact Lens Case

You will need to remove eyeglasses during a tan and need a protective case to hold the items during the process. If you want to remove contact lens, then have a case available. Some people like to wear contact lenses during a spray tan, but you should discuss this with an optometrist.

8. Wax or Shave before Tanning

The tiny hairs on your body will create lighter lines during the tanning process. You can choose to shave and wax at home or request professional hair removal from our beauty therapist. (waxing needs to be done 24 hours prior to the spray tan).

9. Maintain Your Spray TanAfter going through a spray tanning process at a salon, you can make the dyes last longer by moisturising on a daily basis with gentle creams and lotions. Ask your beauty therapist to recommend a high-quality product that keeps your tan looking great for longer.

10 . Skin should be free from perfume and deodorant

We recommend you have a patch test prior to every treatment

After treatment advice;
  • Do not shower or bathe for a minimum of 4 hours after your treatment
  • Do not participate in any activity which may cause perspiration for at least 12 hours after the treatment. The guide colour can be left on overnight although it may transfer onto bed linen. It will wash out of cotton, but not so easily from man-made fibres or wool.
